Growing, Growing, Gone…to regular clothes!

Well a lot has happened since the last time we have posted. It just seems like nowadays you can blink and when you open your eyes… your wife appears and seems to have grown another few inches (not to embarrass Sara). But over the past few weeks this process has really seemed to have caught up with her. She now looks “pregnant” (but still very cute) no more denying the fact, she now has to wear maternity clothes or pajama pants around. Although this may not shock many of the experienced parents to me (a rookie parent-to-be) this was like “WOW” you just keep getting bigger, faster. Thankfully Sara has not experienced any major complications up to this point and the results from the ultrasound were very positive. Currently we have a healthy baby with a strong heart beat and everything seems to developing accordingly. No concerns were presented and our baby seems to be very happy.

We have continued to acquire those things that we will eventually need and to steadily get the room ready for the baby. This weekend we started by testing some of the paint and on the walls, and hopefully if all goes well next Sunday we will have made significantly more progress with the room painting. We have also continued the search for the elusive dresser/changing table and hope to make a trip next weekend to look at some possibilities as most of the orders can take up to 11 – 20 weeks for delivery.

We wanted to thank everyone for your positive comments and words of encouragement as things continue to go well for us. This Thanksgiving we will not be in Wisconsin or Illinois, but will in fact be heading out East to visit the Grant Family (Martin, Kari, and Aidan) in Vermont. We hope that everyone has a great holiday and eats lots of good food yummmmm.

You are looking wonderful, and it is so beautiful to read the excitement that you both are feeling. I remember those days. Treasure them Sara, they go far too quickly.

You do look great! Enjoy your full breasts while you have them. Everyone told me that they would be different after pregnancy, but WOW, I am flat! I’m envious of your chest. =) Do you feel weird that I was looking?? Ha ha

What a great figure you have yet! Enjoy the maternity clothes! There are some really cute ones! (low cut too…yikes!)
