We have had a bit of a ‘normal’ week.  We are close to completing our financing for the a house.  We put an offer in and had it accepted for 275 Oak Manor Dr in Oshkosh.  We are excited for our June 25th closing date…..there is a chance for it to be earlier if the seller is able to find a new home for his family sooner.  We know they have taken great care of the house and we look forward to it becoming our first family home.

Yesterday we began to sort through and pack some things.  Thankfully Stuart took a good AM nap and George helped us tape some boxes.  We have lots of time (so we think) and will just keep moving along with the sorting and packing process.  In between we had a regular weekend.  We visited Heidi on Friday night, hung out at home after going to Festival Foods for their Bunny Hop event on Saturday and today will include a trip to a park to play outside.

Random things that George said or did:

I was looking for something & G asked “Mom, are you looking for the letter R?”  Random.

Stuart was laying on a blanket on the floor & George decided to hop over him.  He won’t be doing that again.

Matt:  George, what are you eating over there?   George: A big chunk of booger.     (We are working on this, but at least he is honest.)

Situation:  Matt & I are looking for a movie that we just had….George had it just the day before.  We are searching for it for at least 10 minutes.  George says “I think it is right here” going straight to the location of the dvd.  There was no way we would have found it there.  We will be sure to keep all car & house keys out of reach.

I’m sure there are more…whenever he does something I think “remember this & add it to the blog” but alas, I often can not remember them.
