George is starting to talk up a storm and loves to repeat what he hears; careful what you say!
He started at a new daycare (Arts for Kids) in August and it is taking a bit to become adjusted but he is doing well. He still cries when I drop him off, but seems happy when Matt picks him up. Teachers say they can tell he is very smart and has good days…the mornings are just a bit tough. He enjoys painting & music class not to mention being outside on the playground.
At home we are working on manners….he realized that ‘please’ is almost as good as gold & will get him closer to the things he wants. He also has new shoes (size 7.5 wide) and enjoys to undo the velcro and take his shoes off. He continues to enjoy watching ‘rachel’ better known to the rest of the children’s world as Signing Times videos. He doesn’t use his sign language as much, but he will randomly pull out a sign like bread or cracker or cheese to reinforce what he is trying to say. It is cute. George likes to ‘help’ with dishes (plays in the water & bubbles) and laundry (pull all the folded clothes off the couch). He is quick to remind us that he is a good ‘elper, elper’.
The end of the summer was nice with a trip to the Milwaukee Zoo & Wisconsin State Fair. We got camping only once this summer, but George loved it. Summer flew by & now we are pulling out long sleeves and pants again. We have a couple of busy months ahead (as usual) and look forward to some pumpkin picking and visits to the Little Farmer (that’s mostly for momma & papa). So far he enjoys watching some football games & yells “go, go, go” at the TV.

Umm, this door has no handle!

I feel pretty, so pretty, and free…

Anyone have a cup of coffee so I can wake up already

Bet you can’t guess what I’m hiding in my pants 🙂

Seriously, if you touch my ice cream again we’ll have to talk!

This is my smile after a long day at the zoo!

Ah, milk… yummmm.

Time to stop and smell the… weeds?

Thanks for the new pictures and updates. George sounds so much like his father. Matt never was a morning person. We couldn’t keep Matt in shoes that fit. As soon as we bought a new pair, a couple of weeks later he had outgrown them. Looking forward to seeing the three of you for the Dragon Boat Races. Love & Kisses, Mom/Linda/Grandma
